Educational materials- a primer on waste

Kanyika's project is about conceptualizing and developing material to be used by an NGO, Saahas, in facilitating the implementation of waste management systems in corporate organizations. It examines the intersection of waste and design in an urban Indian context.

As her product, she chose to focus on the creation of a "primer on waste" to accompany Saahas' endeavours. The challenge of creating the waste primer lay in communicating the big' picture, emanating from a nuanced understanding of the context as well as the issue.
